If you are in New York, check out American Jesus, David LaChapelle‘s solo exhibition at Paul Kasmin Gallery (Running until September 18th) It will show (amongst others) three large-scale photographs depicting Michael Jackson as a modern day martyr! Also on display is LaChapelle’s Thy Kingdom Come, a look at the results of greed and corruption amongst religious establishment, and The Rape of Africa, featuring Naomi Campbell as a modern version of Botticelli’s Venus.
