so....im redesigning my bathroom right now

the idea is all black and white.. using yellow as the accent color

ive been pulling inspiration from everywhere.

my favorite font is avant garde which was designed in the 1960's by herb lubalin for a magazine of the same name.

kris lewis

so im really proud to have super talented friends. 

my friend kris lewis is one of the most talented people i know. 

ive been lucky enough to know him since we were 12 years old. 

a graduate of the university of the arts in philly, and hes an ILL painter. 

He's shown at art basel in miami for the past few years now, been part of Gen Art's shows, and also exhibited around the world in cities including L.A., San Francisco, Seattle, New York, Miami, London, and Hong Kong. His work has also been seen in the publications Juxtapoz and Modern Painters. Last year he curated a show titled "worlds on fire" with will.i.am from the black eyed peas.

getty up

i recently went to view the irving penn exhibit at the getty museum. i wasnt allowed to take pics of the actual exhibit, which was absolutley amazing. but the getty itself is on its own an amazing place. so here are a few pics. please go see this exhibit, especially if you are in the fashion industry. irving penn was one of the most amazing photographers of all time, and he will be missed greatly!

Kruger is an American artist, Represented by Mary Boone in NYC. She works with text and pictures and makes bold declarative statements criticizing sexism, capitalism and other social issues. Her work is much about the kindness and brutalities of social life, and how we are to one and other.
